Video Credit: Looking at primitive honey hunting tradition in Nepal
Nepal honey hunters use the same tecniques used by the Veddas in Sri Lanka to gather honey from rock-dwelling bees. The process used by the Veddas includes a complex ritual accompanying the activities and rules as to who can help. The man or boy tending the end of the rope ladder must be the climbers father-in-law or brother-in-law, the only members of the tribe not eligible to marry the climbers widow.
